They also score 58-60 HRC on the Rockwell Hardness scale. VG-10 is a quality stainless steel that has been introduced to the market recently and is ideal for a variety of industrial tools.

Because of the added cobalt, VG-10 knives can be quenched in very high temperature for superior hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, sharpness and edge retention.
