About Artist - Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934)

Yumeji Takehisa was an accomplished and well-regarded painter. His Bijinga picture (beautiful lady portraits) style is a wonderful representation of Taisho Roman art which is the art culture of around 100 years ago in Japan. Yumeji’s work focused on designs for daily life.
