Inspired by the traditional Japanese Moribashi, serving chopsticks used in Japanese cuisine, this long 300mm tong has been developed for a wide range of cooking applications, from food preparation to plating.
It is crafted in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, a region renowned for its expertise in cutlery and metal craftsmanship.
The welded sections are reinforced by inserting chips between the metal plates during the welding process, creating a stronger and more durable construction.
With a tong width of approximately 4.5–5cm, it allows you to grip ingredients easily with minimal effort. Despite its ability to handle large ingredients, it also offers the precision needed for detailed tasks such as plating, just like a traditional kitchen tong.
